Chris Barden is a proven leader in firearms instruction, executive protection, and criminal investigations. Based in Las Vegas, he brings over two decades of tactical experience, courtroom precision, and real-world operational knowledge to every mission—whether training civilians, protecting clients, or building courtroom defenses.

As President and Chief Instructor of Armed Executive, Chris has trained thousands of students in responsible concealed carry, tactical defense, and situational awareness. His classes are known for their professionalism, real-world application, and sharp humor that keeps even high-stress training engaging and memorable.

Before founding Armed Executive, Chris served as a private contractor for one of the U.S. alphabet agencies, providing specialized support in threat assessment, intelligence gathering, and protective operations. That experience forged the disciplined, mission-focused mindset that defines his instruction and leadership style today.

In addition to leading Armed Executive, Chris is the Chief Investigator for Pariente Law Firm, P.C., one of Nevada’s premier criminal defense firms—and a proud member of the USCCA Critical Response Network. The firm has successfully defended and won cases for USCCA members facing the aftermath of self-defense incidents, solidifying its reputation as one of the most trusted legal defense teams in the state.

Chris was also instrumental in the landmark Nevada Supreme Court case Andersen v. Eighth Judicial District Court—a pivotal decision that changed the law, reinforced and defended the Second Amendment rights of Nevadans. His investigative work and constitutional understanding helped shape arguments that continue to protect lawful gun owners across the state.
