Maggie Mordaunt

Maggie Mordaunt, widely known in the firearms training community as “CCW Maggie,” is the Founder and Co-Owner of Homeland Personal Protection (HPP Training). Since 2010, she has served as the Training Development Director, dedicating her career to providing exceptional firearms education and personal defense training to individuals across Nevada and throughout the United States.

With over a decade of professional instruction, Maggie has earned a reputation as a respected
leader in the firearms training industry. She is a:

• Training Counselor through both the NRA and USCCA
• Certified Defensive Firearms Coach through I.C.E. Training
• Instructor featured on the Personal Defense Network (PDN) Training Tour
• Expert instructor of Combat Focus Shooting (CFS) and Intuitive Defensive Shooting (IDS) programs

Maggie has trained thousands of students in concealed carry, defensive firearms skills, and personal protection strategies. Her teaching focuses not only on equipping students with the tools and permits to carry but also on developing the mindset, knowledge, and skills necessary to prevail in life-threatening encounters.

In addition to her instructional expertise, Maggie serves as a Qualified Expert for Nevada District and Federal Courts on matters involving use of force, firearms, and ammunition. Her testimony and professional insights have been instrumental in several court cases.

Outside of the classroom and range, Maggie is a proud Hunter Pro Staff Member for Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s and regularly conducts educational seminars and training in partnership with the Nevada Department of Wildlife. A passionate advocate for hunting as part of America’s heritage, Maggie integrates this respect for tradition into her teaching, inspiring students to embrace safe and responsible firearms ownership.
