Paul Chaffee

Instructor

Paul Chaffee has been a passionate firearms enthusiast for many years. As a former Police Officer in Southern Nevada, he brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience in firearms training and weapons laws. Paul is deeply committed to firearm safety and education, always striving to instill confidence and responsibility in those he trains. Inspired by his father’s 20+ years of service in the United States Air Force, Paul embodies discipline, integrity, and attention to detail—qualities that have shaped his success as a respected Firearms Instructor.

Dedicated to serving his community, Paul has supported numerous charity shooting events that benefit children battling cancer and homeless teens. He was also one of the first camp counselors for Camp Firefly, a camp for children with cancer, where he volunteered for more than a decade. Beyond his contributions to youth programs, Paul serves on the Executive Board of the UNLV Lied Institute of Real Estate Studies, where he leads as Mentorship and Internship Chair. He is also active as a Committee Member of the UNLV Rebel Business Network and serves on the Student Life Advisory Board. In addition, Paul is the Advisor to Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, an organization he helped found at UNLV in 1997, and he has been recognized with the “Leader of the Year” award for his work coaching PSI Seminars’ Pacesetters Leadership Dynamics course.

Paul earned his BA in Communication Studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and has furthered his leadership skills through PSI Seminars Life Success, Men’s Leadership, Pacesetters Leadership Dynamics, and Rapport 1 Leaders programs. He is also a proud Freemason with Boulder City Masonic Lodge #37, where he served as Master of the Lodge in 2022 and 2023. Today, he continues to give back to the fraternity as a Grand Trustee of the Grand Lodge of Nevada. Above all, Paul treasures his role as a devoted husband and father of two.
